Brian Geraghty stars in Kathryn Bigelow's multi-award winning filmTHE HURT LOCKER. He can also be seen this fall as the lead in EASIER WITH PRACTICE. Some of Geraghty's other feature films include the Sam Mendes film JARHEAD, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, Jamie Foxx, and Peter Sarsgaard; CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER WOMEN, with Aaron Eckhart and Helen Bonham Carter; BOBBY, a star studded cast directed by Emilio Estevez; WE ARE MARSHALL, opposite Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox; THE GUARDIAN, with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher; THE OPTOMIST, with Leelee Sobieski; ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL, with John Malkovich. Previous film credits include STATESIDE, with Val Kilmer and Jonathan Tucker, and CRUEL WORLD, with Edward Furlong.
Prior to launching into a film career, Geraghty had guest starring roles on several top television series, including THE SOPRANOS, LAW AND ORDER, and ED.
Originally from Jersey, Geraghty graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York City.
